The signature at the top is that of Manuel Fraga Iribarne, Franco's then Minister of Information and Tourism,who inaugurated the complex. Businesses including the La Bagatelle bakery and the Bar Mi Rancho were among the first businesses to open in the area below the complex in the months following the inauguration.
