Heading out of Montemar toward Benalmadena, just passed the Eurosol Apartments, was the Hotel 3 Carabelas, Torremolinos inaugurated in July 1962. Later renamed Melia Torremolinos, and now a big hole in the ground, literally. A 5 star hotel project which didn't get past the foundations level of construction...
